The idea of "Pendulum" is born from the concept of "balance" and posing the question of — imagine a universe where a cataclysmic event has befallen humanity; how will we choose to survive? How will we adapt?

The event causes a rift between the species — two factions are formed.
Some adopt ORDER as they found structure, technology and the intellect "sufficient" enough to keep them alive. They focused on progression for progression sake, looking at their humanity as a hinderance to their inevitable "evolution".
Others adopt CHAOS as they rejected this new structure and embraced nature, extra-dimensional magick and unknown forces they knew nothing about. They felt the power it offered, which to many, became intoxicating.

King Dave of Derp Birds introduced me (Cozmo) to the world of NFTs in the summer of 2021. I had never heard of NFTs before but as soon as I "got it" — I was immediately hooked. I dropped everything I was doing to see if I could figure out how to "create a collection".
I hadn't done "art" in over a decade. Professionally, I had worked as a developer, designer and illustrator but never for myself. I never had the time to create anything I felt I had full control over the direction and this felt like the right outlet to embrace that desire.

Six months later (yes it took 6 months to create, full-time, no other work) after spending months trying to find a style, learning how to draw digitally and going through trial/error processes all along the way — the ORDER collection was finished.
We minted on March 30, 2022 — sold out in 2 hours and have continued collaborating with the community and other projects ever since.
